Paste a blog post link and turn it into a ready-to-post Pinterest pin. The tool pulls in the post’s title and photos, so all you do is pick a layout and download. Make several pins for the same post in a couple of minutes.
How to turn a blog post into a pin
- Paste your post’s link into Start from your blog post and click Fetch.
- Pick the photos you want from the ones found in the post. They drop into the pin in order.
- Edit the title. The post title comes in automatically. Shorten it to three or four lines and highlight your keyword.
- Try a few layouts with one tap each.
- Add your website in the Brand tab and download a 1000 × 1500 pin.
Make three to five pins per post
Pinterest rewards fresh pins: new images, even when they link to the same post. Once your first pin is done, make a few more from the same link:
| Pin | Change this | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Original title, collage layout | 20 Small Kitchen Storage Ideas |
| 2 | Different photo, text overlay | Small Kitchen Storage on a Budget |
| 3 | A single tip as the title | Use the Inside of Cabinet Doors |
| 4 | Before and after layout | Kitchen Makeover: Before and After |
| 5 | Text-only quote pin | Clear Counters, Calm Kitchen |
Post them a few days or weeks apart rather than all at once. Our guide on how many pins to post per day has a simple schedule.
When a link doesn’t import photos
Some sites block other websites from reading their pages, or load images in a way the importer can’t see. If that happens:
- Upload the photos yourself with the Upload photos button, or paste them with Ctrl+V.
- Type the title into the Pin title box.
Everything else works the same.
Write the pin text too
Before you post, write a title and description that match what people search for, then check them with the Pinterest SEO checker. For formulas and examples, see how to write pin titles and descriptions.
Frequently asked questions
Is the blog to pin tool free?
Yes. It’s free with no sign-up and no watermark.
Does it work with any blog?
It works with most WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Blogger and Shopify blog posts. If a site blocks importing, upload the photos yourself.
Are my photos uploaded to your server?
Photos from your own computer stay in your browser. When you import from a link, the post’s public images are fetched so the pin maker can use them.
What size are the pins?
1000 × 1500 pixels, the 2:3 size that fits the Pinterest feed. Tall 1080 × 1920 and Instagram 1080 × 1350 sizes are also available under Download.
Can I make pins for many posts at once?
A bulk pin maker is coming soon. For now, paste one link at a time.
